What makes a Melanie East portrait is not just understanding light, shadow and composition. It is also my ability to connect easily with children and families. This means your photographs will shine with your children’s character as I’ll get the best out of them. My aim is to ensure you have a great time and enjoy the experience. The photographs will speak for themselves.
The fee for a portrait session with me is £75 which pays for an outdoor shoot, travel and all post production. The edited digital images (approximately 40 but sometimes more plus a black and white set) cost £495. However, whereas everyone wants to own their digital images, I really would encourage something for the wall – or perhaps a beautiful album. Please see my product page for examples.
I can suggest great locations with good interesting backdrops, but it may be that you want to have the shoot in a place special to you, or perhaps your garden – that’s just as lovely.
In the event of poor weather we just reschedule to another mutually convenient date.
