Are you qualified?

Yes! I am one of the most highly qualified newborn photographers in the UK, holding my associateship in newborn photography with the Master Photographers Association and the British Institute of Professional Photography. I was also the first in the UK to receive the Newborn Certification in safety.

You aren’t the cheapest, so why should we choose you?

I’m at the top of the field when it comes to newborn photography. I’m very highly qualified in the specialist field of newborn photography. I photograph babies with the utmost care ensuring that no risk whatsoever will be taken. I photograph using a natural story telling style with minimal disruption to babies. You will leave the studio having had a relaxing time.

Are you safe?

Possibly one of the safest newborn and baby photographers you would ever come across! I teach newborn photographers worldwide extensively how to position and photograph babies safely. I do not and will not carry out the popular "froggy pose" even as a composite.

What do we need to bring?

I have everything you could possibly need during your newborn session including nappies and water wipes, cotton wool and tepid boiled water. I also have a huge variety of knitwear, blankets and props, bonnets and hats from which you can choose.

What is your style?

I photograph in a natural style so that you have memories of your baby during the newborn stage. This means I photograph what baby does - the little stretches, the looks to camera, the sleepiness and pure cuteness which you will want to remember. I use neutral set ups and usually photograph on white and cream.

Will you put the images online for us to look at?

I can certainly do that if you prefer but most clients come back to me to view their images on a large screen so that they can see the images as intended.

Do you sell the digital images?

I do. However, I would encourage you to consider that we live in a world where new babies and growing children don’t exist in print. They exist on iPhones and computers and USB sticks. Parents have good intentions but never find the time to have their images properly printed. With that in mind, my clients invest in tangible products, whether that is an album, framed portraits, art blocks, prints or my Reveal Boxes. Many products come with the digital images included. But of course you can buy just the digitals if that is what you prefer.

What about products?

I offer beautiful products such as albums, reveal boxes and wall art, the majority are handmade in Italy from scratch, by the finest Italian craftsmen and craftswomen. Please see the product page for some examples.

How do we book?

Please just click here to email me with your due date (if you would like a newborn session) and we will set a date in the diary for approximately 7 days after your due date. Most clients book just after their 20 week scan to ensure availability as I often get booked up months in advance.
