Coronavirus and Newborn Babies

Coronavirus and Newborn Babies

As a specialist newborn photographer, I need to tell you what I am doing in my studio regarding the coronavirus and newborn babies.

For 15 years I have been dedicated to providing families with beautiful and incredibly safe newborn photography.  Those that know me, know that I am a highly responsible, safe and highly professional photographer.  Putting babies at risk whether through posing or infectious diseases is not something I would ever do.   Never have, and never will.   The nature of newborn photography creates an opportunity for Covid 19 to spread, with close quarters, a warm room and the inevitable touching of babies during posing and soothing.   The overriding principle behind my business is and will always be the safety and well being of my clients and their families.

Part of running a business is being a responsible business owner. With that in mind the studio is now temporarily closed for shoots until further notice.  As a self employed person, this isn’t an easy decision to make because it means that my income drops significantly.  That said, to me, safety is more important than profit and I will always put my clients first.   One thing my clients know for sure is that their babies are in the safest of hands.

I’ll be back up and running once this Coronavirus pandemic has settled.   I can’t wait to photograph your newborns, your babies, your children and your weddings.  Special times are there to be photographed.

Over the coming weeks I will be posting some really useful tips for parents to be, plus images from my archives.   Keep safe, remember the rules on social distancing and love your family.
